There are almost no twists or turns that keep you interested in this film because everything seems predictable from very early on in the film. The climax seems very rushed after sitting through the complete film. Raees is full of action and excitement, but it’s not a high-octane thriller that should have us on the edge of our seats. The major letdown of this film? The writing. The music doesn’t make up for it either. There’s nothing much to relish about in this film except for Shruti Haasan’s amazing performance as Meera, although she does make you question her choice of clothes at certain times.
